A variety of new products that enable out-of-office data collection, systems interface and hard copy output for brokers, agents and others in the insurance industry who must travel in their work were displayed here during the recent PC Expo. Sharp Electronics Corp. featured its line of Mobilon hand-held PCs. The products include the TriPad PV-6000, the sub-notebook sized Pro PV-5000 and the pocket-sized HC-4600, said Mahwah, N.J.-based Sharp. All Mobilon models run on the Microsoft Windows CE operating system, the company said. The TriPad is a flexible unit that can be configured in three ways.
